out of hibernation, is moving to a later month and to a popular tourist destination. As if that weren't enough, Geek Day 2012 will be held at the same time as the 100th Anniversary of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Visitors to the area can enjoy the plethora of exhibits, tours, dining and entertainment activities available year-round as well as four weeks of celebration commemorating the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Japan.
The festival kicks off in late March and continues through the end of April. The week of Geek Day 2012 holds some of the greatest highlights offered at the Festival. |
