The 2012 Geek Day will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in downtown Washington, D.C. Opened in 2003, the Center was named after Mayor Walter E. Washington, the city’s first home-rule mayor, the convention center features a commitment to promoting green meetings and holds the Guinness Book of World Records for having hosted the largest sit-down dinner. The Center is also home to over 120 works of art including sculpture, painting, photography, mixed media and graphics.
This stunning facility will provide a sophisticated and convenient backdrop for Geek Day 2012. Even though the 2012 floor plan is condensed to one floor, you may want to take a moment to orient yourself prior to arrival.
