Geek Day showcases companies with innovative ideas and best of breed technology practices. Driven by our customers' need to design, implement and manage a comprehensive IT strategy, Geek Day organizers will be expanding upon the organic growth of the event from a focus on datacenter and virtualization. The 2012 Geek Day roster of Sponsors will officially broaden to include those organizations who focus on Security, Wireless and Mobility, and Collaboration through Voice and Video. If you think you meet this criteria then read on and contact the Geek Day organizers for more information.
Companies, customers and technology enthusiasts from all over the country attend Geek Day, which has grown to become one of the premier events focused on virtualization and datacenter technology. This is not your average tradeshow. Attendees to Geek Day do not attend to pick up tchatckes for their kids, brochures outlining your company history, or to enter to win drawings. They expect to receive a hands-on, functioning demonstration of the industry's best solutions available to them, and to have an in-depth conversation on how your solution can impact their environment. An average Lab conversation at Geek Day will last 30 minutes and result in clear action items for your team, which means your team has a fully qualified list of leads to work from immediately following Geek Day.
At $12,000 your participation in Geek Day includes the following:
Each Lab Includes:
An Additional Day!
Geek Day organizers have heard the attendee's requests and we are responding. We've added an additional day to the agenda, allowing time for more breakouts and more Lab time without breakouts!
Inclusion in print and electronic materials at Geek Day. Each Sponsor will receive the following:
Branded About Us page in the Attendee Booklet
Logoed signage in Geek Lab
Logo recognition during Opening Keynote
A BrightTALK Channel:
You may elect to sponsor and conduct one 50-minute breakout session per sponsored Lab. Your breakout abstract must be submitted in advance for approval by the Geek Day Committee.
We've already mentioned that Geek Day isn't your typical tradeshow, so let us explain a bit more. Each Lab, your booth space at the event, is set up with everything you need to be successful, EXCEPT FOR your demo. Each Lab should remain identical in set-up, so that your technology demonstration is the focus. You will not be allowed to bring in banners, signage, giveaways, handouts* or table drapes. Go ahead Marketing People and breathe a sigh of relief - this is the easiest show you've ever coordinated!
*Whitepapers submitted to the Geek Day Committee prior to January 15, 2012 for review may be approved for handout at your Lab.
In addition to being irreverent, funny, and challenging, Geek Day is also myopic. Our single focus is to provide attendees with access to meaningful and relevant information. Our commitment to the attendees is that they won't receive a barrage of marketing "fluff" either before or after Geek Day. How does this impact you? Your leads list will be short, much shorter than your typical national tradeshow, but it will only contain highly qualified individuals. Attendees are instructed to only allow their badge to be scanned if they want additional, specific, information from a Sponsor. At the end of the event they complete a survey and indicate, by Sponsor, if they are interested in a) no follow-up b) scheduling a meeting or c) scheduling a demo.
Imagine, a list of highly qualified leads that don't have to filter through multiple marketing channels. You know exactly who to call, what to talk about and what you should expect as the next step. Obviously this event was founded by a Marketing guru and a Technology guru - it so elegantly blends the best of both worlds!
